The first day of Jacob's seclusion passed, but this time, he didn't know how long he had been within the immortal chapter; his entire focus was on the myriad images and information that were exposed to him.
Even after an unknown time passed, Jacob remained in a daze as he tried to comprehend those images. After spending an unknown amount of time, Jacob was finally able to comprehend one of those images. In that image, he found a silhouette entirely made of blood, and it seemed to be manipulating a drop of blood.
As time passed, Jacob was able to comprehend another image in which the same silhouette seemed to be separating the blood drop on a cellular level. Furthermore, as he started to understand the images and was able to 'see' them, that huge amount of information also began to assimilate into his brain.
