Chapter 88 - She is just like you

"Do you know Humans used a phrase called curiosity kills the cat? Lucifer, stop being a clown. You are not a three-headed devil who does not know what will happen if you make the king angry?" Alexander said in a joking manner and put a small piece of bread in his mouth from Bella's plate that she left.

Xavier followed the thing with smiling eyes. He could see the devil was trying hard to cover up, doing mushy gestures with Bella, but that didn't mean he was in love with her because Satan and the Devil never do love.

"My mistake! I want to know how long have you been thinking of playing with Bella," added Xavier, placing his face on his palm above the table.

And he had a treacherous chuckle on his face.

"It's nothing to do with you. Get the fuck out of my house," Alexander roared and crushed the glass near his hand. As Joseph once said, if Lucifer and Satan are together under one roof, there will have no excellent results. And it was happening. They were the real enemies.

Xavier didn't miss the opportunity and angered Alexander with his remark, "I want her too."

"Fuck you! Lucifer," Alexander stood up and his hand came forward. Something immediately threw Xavier far from the table, he hit his back on a glass desk, shuttering it with his force as he fell on it.

"What happened?" Bella said from the stairs. She came out when she heard something had shattered downstairs. For a moment, she was frightened and now she could see what caused that sound. But why did Xavier was lying on shattering glasses?

Alexander looked at Xavier angrily, as if he just wanted to rip off his head, but Bella's voice quelled his fury. Dimming his angry eyes coldly, waiting to be back to normal to look at Bella. He was careful not to scare Bella, but Xavier made it impossible. He knew what Lucifer's goal was, and because of that, he was peeving Alexander. However, by doing this, he was digging his grave because no one can suppress the king.

"Ouch! My back," murmured Xavier and deliberately bleed a little from his nose. Isabella quickly made her way downstairs because, at least for her, the situation was really dire. The broken pieces would be in his skin, and Butler was nowhere to be seen.

Alexander stood as frozen. She didn't understand what was happening. Why was no one doing anything? If he bleeds heavily, he will need to be admitted to the hospital.

"Isabella," a loud, heavy voice interrupted Bella's steps. She felt her steps could not move because they were rooted, only because of fear of the voice.

"Come here," Alexander called Bella to him in a deadpanned voice, telling her where was he. Bella turned her head slowly towards Alexander who was in a bad mood. The reason for this, Bella did not know at all. It had not been long since she had left the table, what happened then suddenly she could not apprehend.

"Have you called the doctor?" Bella asked as she reached for Alexander. Immediately, a hand pulled her close possessively, almost merging her with him.

"Yes, Butler called our family doctor. Don't worry. Go where you were supposed to go, otherwise, it will be late," Alexander said, stroking her cheek with a light finger, then tracing down her lips. His fingers rubbed them.

Bella's conscious mind got diverted from Xavier's situation to Alexander's sweet motions on her face and lips, which turned her lips dry. Alexander's voice and his touch filled her heart. She didn't feel bad or worried anymore.

Bella, this man influencing you. Bella said within.

"Alright," her words came out in a whisper. She wanted to pull away, but her guilty mind betrayed her. Wanted to be alone with him again, but now it would be a sin if she did or desired when she was about to go out to do something good.

She pursed her lips and turned back.

On her way, she did look at Xavier just for one glance, then straight out without talking to him.

"She is just like you. A cruel woman," Xavier stood from those shattered glasses. As he straightened his back, the glass pieces which were stuck in his skin flew out.

Alexander did not reply to his words rather, he closed his eyes and inhaled something from the air.

"She is going to an orphanage. Nothing can harm her there. Except me," Xavier joked with a laugh.

Alexander didn't bother with the Clown as he made his way to his room.

When Bella came outside, she saw the butler was ready with the chauffeur. They always gave her pleasant feelings, because their smile never left their face.

"Miss Bella, are you okay? I heard last night from the butler you hurt yourself," the old driver asked politely, opening the door wide for Bella. At the same time, Butler was also waiting for Bella's answer because since yesterday he was wondering what happened, but till now he did not get any answer. Besides that, he didn't even notice any injuries.

"I am fine. I just sleepwalked, not hurt," Bella answered the same speech Alexander had told the butler but still, the butler had assumed she hurt herself.

The chauffeur smiled and looked at the young butler, who overthink a lot.

"So, which orphanage are we going to?" The Butler asked, ignoring the chauffeur's smiling eye.

He was pleased that Bella ask him to come with her because after coming to this mansion he never left. It had been half a month since his arrival at this place, yet he had only seen it inside the garden and the mansion.

"Little Flower Orphanage," answered Bella and the car started. Bella looked through the internet when she saw some news about a girl missing from a high-end pub last night and her parents didn't find her.

At the same time, a message came on Bella's phone. Her fingers paused and clicked on that to read. It was Alexander who was telling her to hold the phone close. Bella's mood was complicated. This thing was troubling Bella again. She was suspicious about why Alexander was saying this, again and again, keeping the phone close and coming home on time. What does that mean? What is he so worried about? Bella thought to herself.
