Lexie knew that they were not in a position to leave the area just yet, but she suggested it to Ciel anyway because she didn't want him to witness the horrific scene in front of him. The acrid smell of fire and burned corpses was still lingering in the air, and it was suffocating both Ciel and Lexie.
However, despite the suffocating atmosphere, Isiah seemed unfazed by the gruesome scene and its scent. His only source of irritation was the fact that Ciel had to see the massacre at this very moment.
