"You mean it?" Rory asked.
She could see that. But this is something that was troubling her for so long and she didn't want to confirm it. She observed his eyes to look for any sign of distress. She feared that he might be hiding his true feelings for her sake.
"I do," Liam held her hand.
"Okay..." Rory nodded. He means it. "And I went to the basement because I heard Sidney. She was breaking the wine bottles after she somehow loosened her tie... And I saw...it... the dead baby..." she gulped and Liam held her hand.
"It was terrible. I'd rather forget that... He came and he...He called her pig and she started to hurt herself just because he looked at her. He trained her like that probably... She had gone through a lot... I can't even get very mad at Sidney because..." Rory then rolled her eyes remembering the meeting with Sidney.
"Never mind. I am not going to pity her," she shrugged, and Liam chuckled.
