Rory walked to Lennon wading through the broken glass pieces. The sound of Sidney hitting the floor with her forehead made her bones shiver.
Sidney knows the real Lennon. And she is that scared of him. It only made her more scared.
Holding his hand... she was willing to even slash his throat if push comes to shove.
"Come on, dear..." Lennon's voice was smooth as he looked at Rory. "Let's have the dinner you promised. I have enough meat in storage."
Sidney paused her banging for a moment before resuming it. Rory wondered what the fuzz about the meat Lennon mentioned.
"Come on," Lennon grabbed her wrist and pulled her to a hug. Before Rory could compose herself, he swiftly turned her and pressed her to him wrapping his arm around her waist.
Rory's back was pressed hard on his chest, and he held her chin tightly. He took a deep whiff of her hair.
