"I'll be fine after some rest, Uncle Lenny," Rory said looking at the door.
Lennon sighed. She looked pale and sick. Her eyes were red and at one glance anyone can say that she is unwell. But she is not asking for help. And without using words, she is asking him to leave.
"Yeah, but first, eat something. You are to take care of this little being there, and you need strength. Worrying would hurt you and in turn your baby. She needs you," Lennon raised his hands in a surrendering gesture seeing Rory's expression turning hostile. "Just something to think about, alright?"
"Okay," Rory nodded.
She did not want to hear any advice on how to care for Ellie, but Lennon is right. Ellie is solely dependent on her for her nutrients and if she gets sick Ellie is the one who will get affected the most.
"Thanks, Uncle Lennon," she said softly.
