Chapter 60 - The Trojan Hero

Achilles stepped out of the shadows. It was as if the arena's lighting brightened all of a sudden.

He half-crouched in the pavilion and reached the arena's center in a single leap, bounding over two hundred feet.

Boom! The ground cracked as Achilles landed. He stood to his full height, surveying the surrounding area.

The eight-foot-tall Greek mythical hero was dressed in scintillating golden greaves fitted with silver ankle clasps. A golden breastplate was fastened to a silver backplate. About his ripped shoulders, a silver-studded bronze sword hung. In his left hand, he held a mighty ornate shield.

A mesmerizing set of green eyes stared down at Pete from within a horsehair crested helmet. Shiny chestnut-blonde hair flowed down to his shoulders.

Achilles' body was so well-sculpted that it gave the phrase 'Greek God' meaning and not the other way around. He had massive arms, chest, and legs, yet looked lean and athletic.
