That fucking tube had just ended about thirty feet above the ground. Or rather, thirty feet above the surface of a lake that was filled with crystal clear water. There were trees, sandy and rocky shores, and other woodland looking areas around the lake, but that didn't really matter to me right now. I was falling into the lake, and quite quickly at that.
