Mo Ru Shi could feel her heart beating out of her chest. What was the second princess thinking?
The carriage ride went on faster than she wanted it to be. It felt as though she didn't have enough time to prepare herself.
Once the carriage stopped. She could see the prince had been waiting with his carriage stationed.
Mo Ru Shi didn't move. Now thinking about it, this task was beyond her capabilities. Maybe if she exited now she wouldn't have to face him and his possible wrath.
If she left, however. Wouldn't that be the equivalent of betraying the second princess?
The was no way out of this now. Even though Mo Ru Shi agreed to this knowing how stubborn the princess was.
How could she back out of this? It would have been better if she had a better way. But Mo Ru Shi couldn't decide a plan so she is stuck with this task.
Conjuring the courage Ru Shi took a step out of the carriage. She wore a veil covering her face.
