They stared at each other for a couple of seconds before he turned away from her.
"Haven't you used me enough already?"
"So where are you going to after I leave?" Theresa probed, folding her arms.
"Home." His answer was curt and short.
"Home? You mean where no one is? Your mother is practically on her death bed in the hospital, and your sister's out there selling the only thing left for you of your dad without batting an eye lid. Is that a home?"
"Well, at least it's better than staying around someone who only kept me alive because she wanted to drain my bank account "
Theresa smirked.
