Talia raked her hand through her hair as she stared at her reflection one more time in the mirror before grabbing a lip balm.
Opening off the top, she applied it slowly to her lips which was drawled into a smile before she threw it into her purse and headed out of her suite .
On her way, she called Jephthah.
"I'm on my way out. Where are you?"
"I'm in the driveway. Ann's Lexus."
"K." She simply replied before ending the call. However, she bumped into Maddy Belle on her way out the halls, the phone dropped to the ground, along with hers.
"I knew in some way you were disabled, but I didn't know you were blind." Maddy sniggered as Talia bent to pick up her phone, but the snickering look on her face froze when she saw she just ended a call with someone name Jephthah with a heart emoji beside it.
"Excuse me." Talia didn't even bother to exchange words with her as she walked past her, cradling the phone in her hands.
Strange.
