He held onto the bar of the cage, anxious and scared, yet relieved as he stared at their faces stained with blood and dirt.
Anxious, because he didn't have a clue on how to let them out, and he was all on his own until he could.
Scared, because he knew he was taking a risk walking down the palace's hallways until he found himself here. From the medieval time books he's read, he guessed there had to be an under ground dungeon like the one he was in right now. He was just relieved that he was able to get here without being spotted, and that his friends were okay.
