In less than a second, there was a thudding sound and at Daniel's feet lay Brittany on her hands and knees, face down to the floor.
He side stepped her without breaking eye contact with Naomi, whose eyes had widened twice their original size when he went round the bed, closer to her.
She scooted away from the bed, lurnching forward, but he reached out, and grabbed her hand. Turning in fright, she slapped his hand away and yelled,
"Don't touch me!" And that single command was all it took for Daniel to freeze.
Panting, she stood Infront of him, the bed a barrier between them. Inclining her head to the other side, she narrowed her eyes, wondering if her words had been put literally
Daniel wasn't moving. His hand was still extended in the air when he had reached for her, a lost look in his eyes, almost like he was in a trance.
