Talia helped Nancy out the room and into theirs, making sure she was tucked in in her bed before placing a tender kiss on her forehead. She sighed at Nancy's sweet innocent face and swore to kill Alpha Koan if she learnt he had hurt her in any way.
She hears a knock at the door and opens it with a frown only to see John with panic stricken eyes.
Surprised, she stepped out, shutting the door behind her.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know… It's Jephthah… he…"
Before he said a word, Talia had disappeared towards Jephthah's room. John raised a brow.
That wasn't as difficult as he thought.
He got into the room and went straight to Talia's bed. Glancing over at Nancy to ensure she was tucked in well and fast asleep, he collapsed on Talia's bed and began snoring.
