"You've been quiet." Daniel pointed out as he sat there, wiping his wet strands of hair with a small towel.
Naomi was lying down, facing the other way while clutching her hands to her chest. However, her eyes snapped open when she heard his words.
"I'm trying to sleep." She mumbled, not bothering to turn to him.
"Something's bothering you. Spill." He demanded with a small frown.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
He sighed.
"Is it about the elders?"
Silence.
"I'm taking the right measures to prevent... "
"No" Naomi suddenly sat up and moved back to the bed, head rest to to stare at him. "That's what you think, but forcing them to concede to the ceremony will only make them conclude the type of Luna I'll be. They'll think you're under the influence of my presence."
"Okay Now what? What do you suppose I do? Beg?" He narrowed his eyes at her.
