"Jephthah!" John screamed at him, wondering why he was hesitating. In frustration, he made his way close to them and froze when 'Talia' turned to look at him. With brows etching into a frown after, he turned to Jephthah.
"Why are you hesitating? Kill her!"
"No." 'Talia' meekly said, scrambling up on her feet, wobbling slightly to hold onto Jephthah, ignoring John whose eyes twitched. "Please don't... Jephthah. You know you don't want to do this."
He was left speechless, his grip on the dagger loosening.
