Another building was destroyed as Daniel was thrown onto one, and a deep spine chilling silence settled on the vicinity like an uncomfortable, uneasy feeling.
Koan just stood there, panting, having run all the way, yet it seemed like he was too late.
He turned in a flash when he noticed a prescence behind, only to see Fiona smiling at him, blood strewn across her face, a mad glint in her bright eyes, her canniness visible, terrifying him a bit.
"Now that the annoying peasant is out of the picture, let's go, brother."
"What do you mean?" He turned to the demolished building which had fallen walls, and debris all over, yet Daniel hadn't even risen.
There was no sign of life even.
He faced Fiona, carefully asking with a shaky voice.
"Where is he?"
There was not a single hint of amusement on her face as she replied.
"He won't bother us anymore, brother."
