The palace was in chaos, everyone under extreme stress with the sudden announcement of the marriage, and the work which would take a week was to be sorted in just a day.

"I want a pile of different flowers ready by tomorrow morning!!" Another matron responsible for decoration speaks, rushing around with a basket full of flowers and a few maids after the matron.
