"So it's you?" The demon speaks, hiding in the dark around the corner, Han Jiaqi speaks, and Gu Chen trembles as she crawls back on his hands and feet, scared for his life.
"I-I… apologize! Please let me go!" Gu Chen begs as he reaches far from Han Jiaqi, joining his arms and rubbing them up and down continuously as he watches the demon walk towards him, slowly.
Han Jiaqi laughs, enjoying the terror in Gu Chen's eyes but what interested him was the feeble attempt of this human to try and harm the demon king, who as of now is the strongest.
"Is it true?" Han Jiaqi asks, his eyes glowing reddish yellow, with all excitement and rage towards Luo Yan, "P-Please…s-spare me." Gu Chen begs, too frightened as he sees his life ending before his eyes.
"I asked something." Han Jiaqi growls, Gu Chen shuts his eyes close, crying in fear, "Y-Yeah…I did that." Gu Chen says, hanging his head low and inching further.
