Instantaneously, Jake found himself on a strange island. The sensation of warping was so seamless it felt as though he had simply blinked and reappeared.
"That was fast," he muttered, taking in his surroundings.
The sky was dominated by a blood-red sun, casting an eerie glow over the landscape. The air felt heavy, almost oppressive, saturated with an unfamiliar energy.
"Blood Baby, come out," Jake commanded, and immediately, a small, floating figure resembling a humanoid made entirely of blood materialized before him.
"Scan the area for me."
Without a word, Blood Baby shot up into the sky, its form twisting and gliding as it began surveying the island. While it worked, Jake glanced around, his sharp senses honing in on the strange environment.
"There's a significant amount of primal energy in the air," he noted to himself.
