I should've never gone there and had Jax do it instead. But Jax said he had some important personal things to do today—what they were, he was being secretive about it so I wouldn't know.
Today, I was at the Steel Construction office until the afternoon, checking the operations when the chief from the police station in another neighborhood called me on my work phone. And he told me one of our girls was caught moving drugs. We spent a fortune on those cops, so, fortunately, the chief didn't do anything but keep her in his office until I went to get her.
It was the first time Selen got caught, but I reprimanded her for not following orders. The neighborhood she was caught in wasn't our territory. She knew she shouldn't trespass, but she went ahead and did it anyway. I don't deal with these people directly. I never did. This is Filippo and my father's problem. But now, they're fucking mine too. So whether I like it or not, I had to do it.
