Angela doesn't answer my call, so I try my brother. Fortunately, they are together. She has barely finished saying "Hello" when I squeal, "OH MY GOD! She laughs and I realize I miss her too. Gael has finally found a good woman for him and I swear, I'll beat him up if he fucks this up—I don't care if he's ten years older than me. "It's not a big deal. Don't worry about it. I'm glad you like it," she says.
"Like it? I love it! How did you get the new book? Chasing Fire wasn't even available until last Sunday, and Trigger told me you left this last week?" I pout, realizing I would've gotten them earlier, and then biting my tongue when I remembered exactly why it got delayed.
