Note Before You Read + Excerpt

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Delana's first attempt on werewolf story. If you are a new reader, I would appreciate it if you read this before you start the story so you have an idea what you're getting yourself into. And if you are an old reader, well you know I like to give warnings beforehand heheh~

1. This is a werewolf-apocalyptic story so expect a lot of action, survival, gore, and monsters. If you are uncomfortable with such an explicit descriptions, then this story might not be for you :')

2. Our FL is an OP who isn't aware of her own OP-ness lol so let's follow her journey from the bottom to learn the full extent of her power all over again.

3. Slow burn romance. There will be smut which I will add as a tag [M] on the title but please note that this story is plot-based and definitely not fluffy with rainbow and cotton candy. You have been warned :')

4. Femdom! Our FL is a dominant, a badass fighter and a lady boss through and through! There will be light BDSM later on. To be exact, dom/sub undertones because what can you expect from doggies and their owner *smirk*

5. I know I have added it to the tag and you can see it in the cover, but there will be a love triangle. Actually, this story is a reverse harem. There will be some conflict in between but in the end, FL doesn't have to choose, she will have both. So if you're a believer of 1 vs 1 and monogamy... let me warn you that there will be threesome (oh God I have to write this at least once in my life lol)

6. Futuristic setting! The story will take place in a fictional country and cities on Earth but I will keep the Gregorian Calendar to help you imagine it better :)

7. Content warning for self-harm, childhood abuse and negative vibes. Also, our FL is a smoker, but only when she's really stressed out and in need to vent. Take caution and don't be fool by our FL's elegant appearance because she likes to curse inside lol

8. Word count between 1300-1800. Update will be one per day, but if the word count is too low, Delana will update two :) Time for update is five minutes after reset (00:05 GMT+8)

9. Lastly, enjoy! Don't forget to vote, review, comment and add the story to your library. Oh you have no idea how much of an encouragement every review or comment is so please let me know what you think of the story! ^^

Excerpt:

"You don't remember me," he said in a matter-of-fact tone. Except that the way his eyes looked past her head and the slight tremble of his lashes made Shalei feel like she had kicked a drowning puppy.

She pursed her lips. Damn right, she didn't remember. Wait, to be exact, she was sure that they hadn't even met before, otherwise how could she forget such a handsome yet eerie slash inhuman looking person? Don't get her started on that deathly pale complexion that resembled a corpse more than a human, long jet black hair that reached past his waist, dark robes that covered his slender and towering body and Godā€”those eyes, he had a pair of the most bizarre eyes she had ever seen. The sclera was abyss black with slit golden pupils that glowed in the dark, burning like the wave of molten lava.

In the back of her mind, Shalei knew she ought to be afraid. Yet somehow she couldn't bring herself to.

Shalei remembered wetting her bed when she was five then poured a glass of water on it to destroy the evidence, remembered the neighborhood kid who often played with her whose family ended up moving after her mother had a few words with them, remember the first time she ran away from home and then almost died in the middle of the street due to hunger and cold ā€” she remembered everything in her life soā€¦there was no way she wouldn't remember ever meeting such a person.

But then she had the feeling that if she acknowledged the fact, the manā€”ghost? Demon? Evil spirit?ā€”would have a mental breakdown. Well, he indeed looked like he was seconds from having one.

"Wait, errā€¦" Shalei massaged her temple and scrunched her eyes shut. In a spur of the moment, she blurted out, "I might have anā€¦amnesia?"

She regretted it as soon as the words fell from her lips. She cursed under her breath. Really, Shalei? Amnesia? That's the kind of excuse you offered? But she couldn't have it any other way. She had succeeded in making him appear in person after such a long time. There was no way Shalei would let him go just like that!

Judging from the twitch on the corner of the man's mouth, he didn't appear to believe it either. "You don't remember me," he said again, this time firmer.

Shalei let out a sigh and leaned back on the comfy chair, crossing her arms over her chest. Instead of answering, Shalei opted to ask the questions she had always kept within herself. "Hell's Grim Reaper, Spear of The Death, The Dark Calamity," she listed off the names she had heard time and time again these past few months. "No matter how hard I think about it, you're the kind of guy who prefers to kill for fun. So why do you always appear when I'm in danger?" And because Shalei was exactly that kind of tease, she added. "What? Are you my secret admirer or something?"

This time, the man's eyes finally sought hers. Black clashed with silver. Dark and light. He narrowed his eyes slightly. "I am." Without giving Shalei time to react to the unexpected confession, he suddenly marched forward. His tall figure loomed above her, arm caging her head as he bent down, lips hovering above hers. Suddenly, Shalei couldn't bring herself to breathe. "Have been for the past few centuries. It's you who haven't noticed."

Shalei blinked, then blinked again, speechless.

This wasn't supposed to be in the scenario!
