Silence descended upon the two of us as I continued to look Gaia in the eyes. The bubble I had created around us ensured that no one would see or hear what we were doing. It was a measure that I used to protect myself while at the same time making it harder for Gaia to tell anyone about me being a human, even though I knew that there might be no creatures on Earth that would recognize me with a single glance.
"Who are these people you want to take revenge on?" Gaia asked, her voice slightly distant, yet it was no longer filled with the same coldness that had before.
Her voice was calm, while her words left her mouth slowly and without an ounce of rage or malice behind them. Listening to her, it was as if she had become a completely different person compared to the Gaia that had exposed me and caused my death.
"And why would I tell you that?" I smiled.
"If you don't tell me, I'll kill you." She frowned.
