The butler stepped back with an annoyed expression, but it was replaced with one of understanding as he stepped back and glared at me from the shadow of his king's throne.

The king stood up and set a loud thud throughout the silent throne room, an action that almost made some of the servants look up in shock before remembering that they were not allowed to stop kneeling.
"What is your name?" The king asked while taking a step closer to me.
"Ezra... You?" I asked nonchalantly before also stepping forward.
I could feel the pressure increase, but it did not affect me in the slightest... It was nothing compared to dying.
I could hear everyone around stop breathing as my question registered in their minds, and even then, the king, who was looking at me with a nonchalant gaze, stopped for a moment before smiling wryly and taking a few more steps forward.
