Chapter 31 - Chapter 5 part 2 Greek tragedy

Jackie and his wife had accompanied me to my crypt and when they had finally entered my crypt the 2 seemed shocked at the simplicity.

I had my computer building upgrade modules for all the pods in Egypt and I was constructing 2 new ships 1 was mine and the other would be Jackie's housing 2 resurrection pods.

In terms of wealth I likely was the wealthiest man on earth my holding of metals were in figures of tons and the purity of each metal I had was so far extended that 1 particle impurity could be found in 10 tons of metal.

The computer had outline all the upgraded technology I had learnt and started drafting out extension requirements to the crypt.

I had been slowly tweaking certain technologies to reduce their size and I had finally set out back to Egypt after my 2 days in the crypt.

Jackie had been learning from me how my technology worked and despite my best efforts all I had achieved was having Jackie learn the process for repair and upgrade.

The new ships I had set to build would take several years to complete and now was a time for a trip.

Several months had passed since the crypts in Egypt had been upgraded and Jackie and his wife accompanied me to the Greek empire.

The Greek empire had entered into a great state of disaster Alexander had left all the states defenceless and worse yet he had destroyed all the rulers of the area.

Chaos had erupted as succession to rule was now chaotic and spread widely all those staking claims had been children with barely enough understanding of the stake.

Constant battles were the major problem worthy stake holders were being assassinated and then came the usurpers from the ranks of the worthy killing their leaders to take their power.

Alexander could have a hand in all this chaos or it could just be residual from his actions unfortunately it needed investigation hence the reason for my arrival.

Jackie and his wife were set to investigate the upper coast of Europe where France would 1 day appear and I was set to explore Greece itself starting with the kingdom of Sparta.

The ship had flew into a deep cove near the most dangerous entrance of Sparta other wise called the coast of the decapitated.

I hopped of the ship landing on a thin path that would take 4 hours to reach the city.

I had lived in Europe for the better part of 2000 years I was no stranger to the place or people's behaviour I personally had visited this shambles of a city.

Spartans had a very big thing about calling themselves warriors however most of it were tricks Spartans were useless fighters around 15 men from this city equalled 1 10 year old child.

Their tricks were dirty such as poisoning water supplies leading to the city to have people weak on arrival next they would personally poison people before aggravating a fight.

In wars they carried bags of powder that caused itchiness to gain the edge in combat, Alexander had chosen a scummy people to conquer which said he was extraordinarily scummy himself.

The path finally started to close up and I knew soon it was ambush time despite knowing the Spartans were weak scum their tricks made them extraordinarily deadly.

A slight trickle of dust had brushed over my body and I knew soon it was time for combat, being immortal meant the dust instantly wore off and here came a Spartan.

The man pumped at his chest and scream out his battle cry to taunt me to battle I kept walking towards him and finally he drew his sword and drove it at me, I caught his hand and backhanded him across the face.

The man backed away and started crying out "You cheat how dare you hit me without warning! I will cut you to pieces!"

The man charged at me again this time I caught his hand and squashed it, instantly I could smell that he soiled his pants as a trickle of liquid came down his legs.

I smacked the man like a child and tossed him away, in that instant he ran away little did I know the legend that coward would become in the future he was Achilles.

I had entered the town and 300 hundred Spartans had blocked up the entrance to fight me.

I didn't bother drawing my blade I simply smacked and scream at them as they ran off in total fear, without tricks these men were no stronger then 10 old year children that too was an insult to the children.

I took so much pity on these scumbags I couldn't slaughter them, they were so pitiful in terms of capabilities I could not understand how they survived.

I walked into the city and the women swarmed me and poisoned me over and over again, finally Achilles appeared again.

I was honestly frustrated and he charged at me once again this time I grabbed the blade and yanked it from his hands then ripped his cotton filled armour off.

He squirmed and scream as I held his wrist tightly and finally I gripped the hilt of my blade before leaning in and saying "Where is the Spartan king Alexander?"

Achilles was whaling like a new born for several minutes before he spoke "He ran away after the war we don't know where he went. Please don't kill me!"

He had soiled himself once again so I let go of his wrist and the greatest Spartan of all history fell face first in his own pee.

I had kept asking around and the women poisoning me gave me tons more information including the fact that Alexander had last been seen heading north to the capital city.

I walked out of the city effortlessly despite the number of Spartan men that had sized me up.

Spartans were simply over sized punching bags who were extremely muscular somehow.

To be honest I should have killed the Spartans in a few short months the Greeks and myself would be responsible for the loss of the city of Troy.

In no way is this a grand story the Greek empire was unbelievably weak and silly mistakes made by the Greeks had won this army a victory and subsequently stabilized the region.

My part in this tale was minor but most importantly no one ever told the real tale.

The capital of Greece was the city itself and as I had explained the region was a mess 2 young nobles had assassinated their opposition and taken over, however neither comprehended the complexity of running an empire.

The city was not cleaned and the sewage was simply dumped on the streets, the city smelt so terrible that it made most travellers sick and the armies of the region were pitiful.

Troy had suffered from sewage being dumped at its front gates during the war and the warrior Hector who Achilles defeated had thrown up from the smell mid fight and got killed.

Secondly the Greeks had managed to become powerful during their siege of Troy when they finally comprehended logistics and this would pave the way for the Roman Empire.

I had walked my way to the centre of Greece and the trip had been 4 weeks long the people of the region were pathetic even the bandits were a disgrace, they possessed a threat but if you could fight back parties of bandits seemed like a simple fight.

The capital was a disgusting mess most shops had been closed, rot and bacteria spread through the city and what commotion could be seen was in the noble part of the city the guards had been young men.

The guards had no training and had been outfitted poorly, describing the city as an oversized toilet would have been an understatement.

I walked up to the noble area and had simply walked passed the guards to enter the royal city inside the nobles seemed to be fighting over a young girl who was barely 16 years of age.

The girl was undoubtedly beautiful however she seemed to be in this court by force, the nobles had threatened that if she were not to be 1 of their wives she would be feed for the pigs.

I walked around then I marched into the nobles decision taking my cloak and draping it over the you ladies body and spoke "Stop this madness and tend to your city. Have you hunted down or located Alexander your former emperor."

The court went silent and the man before me pulled himself out of his seat and attempted to pull his sword.

I drew my sword and announced "I am the man who stopped your army I am here for compensation of your transgressions."

The ruler seemed stressed and announced "I am Agamemnon king of kings look on my might and bow!"

I kept my sword drawn and once more announced "I am the warrior Kanji who defeated your great army, should my demands not be met I will cut your throats as payment."
