The Basilisk.... Reptilians with bird like features that prey on man and beasts alike, with their vile poison capable of exterminating entire villages, their long sharp Claws that can shred metal like paper and their monstrous frame that leaves one daunting..... these things, these.... creatures are capable of snuffing out civilizations should they be left to their own devices.
If the human texts are true, the creatures were hunted to near extinction, only surviving because they fled to the dreaded 'Slithering cliffs' Off the coast of the Molti continent, they flapped their fat wings as hard as they could to escape the bloodthirsty humans, when they landed they swiftly made their way to the top as the new apex predator... or so they say still....
"Why in Hel's gate is one here now!?" I shouted, did the humans lie about their culling on this continent? no, even our kind know of that hunt..... we even aided the vile humans in it, so how is one here, my thoughts are interrupted by an incoming claw!
"Hegii!" I squealed something embarrassing, barely dodging the slash! something is dripping from the creatures Claws..... "Is that venom!? Ekaterina get us outta here now!"
"But my lord, Maxie-"
"Is fine! the creature merely slammed its body into him! he'll be up in a minute! now go!"

With that Ekaterina whirls around and takes us away from the creature..... of course it follows us! "Take us through alleyways, I don't want that thing to pounce on us!"

We run from alley to alley, building to building barely escaping the creatures grasp, it's Reptilian eyes glowing red with anger, it misliked this game, it misliked it alot! Damn it, where did this thing come from? We searched the city up and down so it's not like it was hiding here or a secret pet of some foolish noble, I can't think we'll under this conditions! "Take a left towards the twin towers, there are golems there!" I cried, we couldn't slay the creature as we are now, but with the golems.....
"Ugh!" something hits me in the right shoulder, I stumble a bit before getting my bearings, "A-a silver bolt!?" is there a human in the city how!? we searched everywhere, did they somehow sneak in? I look around and I catch a glimpse of a humanoid figure running through the roof, I curse under my breath knowing I can't focus on the intruder now.
We finally make it to the twin towers, it's supposed to be an observatory station for 'astronomers' as the humans call them, I don't completely understand what it is but it involves watching the stars alot, I don't understand why humans wo-
"Ahiiiee! shit that was close!" the intruder is getting more precise with his shots, one almost hit me in the chest! luckily a golem shielded me in the last minute.
The Basilisk is here too, it's eyes are burning red, its eager to devour me, I can feel it, it's overwhelming really but.....
"After I kill you, I'll have a chat with your friend in the red hood" I muttered while glaring at the person on the roof, he aimed his Crossbow In response.
