Creak!
The door was rising- as in, opening.
Guards up in the walls- an awfully thick tall wall.
The army was behind me…
Yeah, passing through this place was going to be a major gamble but-
But we had to.
Both to make a point- and to save a good chunk of time.
So-
Without a doubt-
We moved forward.
The whole army behind me… as well as the setting sun…
"My lord!"
A group of knights greeted us inside.
Lots of citizens just going on about.
Whoever looked this way-also bowed and then went about their days.
Peaceful… but yeah- this place seemed to have some sort of a secret.
Or maybe they were just lethargic because it was the evening?
If so- quite an uncommon thing for a demihuman city.
After all, all the cities I'd been through so far- people were always just people… normal.
