"Fair enough." I stared at Amiya. "I guess I'll let you handle that?"
That was her job after all.
But yeah, I did have to definitely make a proper salary for her.
However- "I'd like to have a word with you, lady Ullana if that's okay."
She was 120-something but even so- that old lady was plenty shrewd. So given the right circumstances, I could definitely take adv- ahem…. Make negotiations…
She was about to say something-
"But my lord-" But the mercenary spoke first. "We would appreciate you don't favor the merchant guild or the adventurer's guild solely." Well, he certainly was bold. "Would you allow me to accompany that talk?"
Okay- he was being way too bold now.
"I can vouch for his usefulness-" Amiya spoke from the side.
I actually wasn't going to let it slide just to gauge their responses but- oh well.
