We'd crossed the ocean, crossed the river- straight to giver-
Aka- the forest.
We went down empty-handed but came back richer.
Not only did we have loads of food supplies- we also had one key asset.
Vernonica's sister- Nornan.
I got that she wouldn't necessarily be cooperative and try to pull things but-
Oh well.
We were minutes away from the Goblin settlement and I had a feeling…
I did station a small portion of the army to guard the settlement and the kitties were protecting the place but- 'Hopefully, nothing happened while I was away…'
Given the horrible things that could happen though- it wouldn't have been surprising if the goblins got wiped or ran away while another raiding party came along.
I totally didn't want that to happen but it was better to be a bit pessimistic than hope like a fool.
Anyway- we kept on moving and reached the settlement.
Jaws dropped.
