Klein finally made it back to the bunker and set up camp again in the building across from the squad. Her little base had not been touched which was a good sign and to double-check it was fine, she made sure there was no hidden mutant web anywhere.
"Okay good, that mutant didn't follow me." Feeling at ease, she leaned against the wall and looked out the window. However, when she looked at the bunker entrance she was dumbfounded with what she saw.
A little girl was outside playing fetch with 2 mutants and not even in a cruel captured way, it was as if the mutants were actual pets. She also spotted her old gun on the waist of the girl, but she was more curious about the fact there were friendly mutants.
