Echo was heavily breathing after screaming his answer and everyone in the room stayed silent. Reia was stunned to hear what Echo had said and felt bad as she couldn't reciprocate.
'I never knew he felt this way…. It's too late anyway.' Reia looked at Echo and she felt nothing, confirming for herself that her heart was with Akira.
Akira didn't say a word trying to think what he could say as he didn't want to get mad or yell at Echo, but he made it hard not to feel aggravated.
"Ha… Nothing to say good for nothing, squad 2 leader, no wonder they must be dead." Echo wanted him to get mad, he wanted him to do something rash.
"Echo, there are some lines you just don't cross." Akira's face went dark and his eyes locked onto Echo while they glowed red.
