Walking towards gate 12, Aoi and Tsubaki kept a safe distance from each other and were constantly on the lookout.
Walking by many survivors that were injured or close to death, there wasn't much they could do which infuriated Tsubaki.
"I swear, I will create a place for the weak." Muttering under her breath revealing one of her goals, this did not get past Aoi's ears.
'At least she seems to have a good heart.' Aoi was rather suspicious of Tsubaki's character, but the more time went on, the better opinion she had of her.
Continuing their walk, they found themselves near a park and some yelling was coming from the middle.
"Hmm? Do you hear that?" Tsubaki turned to Aoi as she wasn't sure if it was a person giving orders or it was the usual screams that echoed throughout the city.
Aoi, with her tanuki ears, had much better hearing than Tsubaki who was just a normal human.
