There were only a couple seconds left until Octavia unleashed a powerful slash directly at Lexi. Her arms were glowing a bright purple and lightning struck the ground all around her, preventing anyone from getting close.
Lexi was doing her best to redirect her movement, but since she was in a full sprint, her feet slid across the ground and by the time she stopped, it'd be too late. I pulled out my gun to shoot, but I hesitated as I didn't want to accidentally kill Octavia, but that hesitation cost me.
There was a loud crack of lightning and Octavia moved at a speed that made her practically invisible to the naked eye. Dust and dirt also kicked up into the air as well, making a already impossible task to see where she is.
