It had been a couple of days as everyone was preparing to move out and with this most likely being a couple-day expedition, we needed to make sure we packed all of our tools. Not too much, though, because depending on how our expedition goes, we might have to leave immediately.
Additionally, I wanted to give Lou some time to heal, but I was not holding out hope that she would since she had not left her room. I had intended to stay for one more night, but if not, I was going to head out with the others.
Everyone knew their role and so far no one had any complaints. Except for Jaybe, she wanted to be teamed up with Echo, which was just her complaining that she couldn't be with her lover.
As much as I would like to meet everyone's needs, I was not going to compromise compatibility over personal feelings. Plus, with what Echo has been cooking up in his room, he will probably be helping everyone from a distance, just like Kim.
