The next morning came, and the squad returned to the bunker in only an hour. They were more familiar with the city and could avoid any hordes of mutants that may be roaming.
The mutants themselves were no longer a threat, but they did not have the energy to bother. It had gotten to the point where regular mutants were so easily dealt with it was better to avoid them. However, they still had their uses since Akira and Reia were yet to see if they have any influence over them.
It's something they would like to try, but Reia had all her focus on killing the kitsune family heads. Echo on the other hand was trying to push the idea since they were not in a hurry to kill the next target.
"Reia we really should try to see what you can do with your mutant abilities. Imagine the benefit it will have in the next battle." Echo was walking right beside Reia trying to convince her to do some tests while they have a brief moment of calm.
