Seeing the glowing eyes in the darkness, Aoi instantly aimed her pistol at whatever creature it was.
'It isn't a mutant, I don't see any of the veins…. Those eyes, they seem familiar.' Aoi couldn't put her finger on it, but something about the pair of eyes looked familiar so she hesitated.
The being that was in the darkness finally made a move, charging directly at Aoi, but because of her hesitation did not shoot and took a step back.
The being entered the light and stopped just before the door due to a leash around its neck.
"N-no." Aoi's mind raced as she couldn't believe who it was and although it was at the back of her mind, she never thought this is how they would meet.
"Is that you Tsubaki?" Not caring about the animal-like state Tsubaki was in, slowly walked up to her.
"Grrrr." Tsubaki was on all fours growling and showing her fangs, threatening Aoi.
