The squad made their way back to their temporary base where Reia and Akira were already resting.
"Let's all get some sleep first then we can talk." Aoi figured there was no point in talking as exhaustion was on everyone's face. Everyone nodded agreeing to her suggestion, so they all walked into their own rooms.
Lou and Kim walked to their room and as soon as they opened the door they were met with a Kadi aiming her gun at them.
"Woah there sweetie." Lou quickly put Kim on her feet and raised her hands hoping Kadi wouldn't fire.
"Mom!" It took Kadi a second to realise who it was, but once she did she threw down her gun and ran at them. Hugging both Lou and Kim, they couldn't help but smile and felt a warm sensation in their heart.
"We are back safe and sound." Kim patted Kadi on the head embracing this feeling as it was something she wanted to experience so much.
