While Akira explained his story, Echo and Jayde were still in the hallway.
"So umm E-Echo, what about m-me?" Jayde was extremely nervous, unsure if it was even an appropriate time to ask such a thing.
"I don't know." Echo's head was still a mess and couldn't think straight. His body was sore all over after being beaten by Akira which didn't help.
"I-I see." Jayde bit her lip as she felt like her chances were getting slimmer despite what happened.
However, Echo did start to feel something as his mind kept drifting to the past and in almost every memory, Jayde was there.
'Tsk, why was I so blind.' Cursing himself for never seeing Jayde, but it became abundantly clear to him that there was someone for him. He couldn't imagine the pain of watching him chase someone who he didn't even have a chance with.
Echo pondered on this for a few minutes before finally coming up with something to say.
