IT'S been a couple of weeks and the news about JLNC's new off-laner, Kashmiri, is still a hot topic with people expressing their doubts about Kashmiri's capability of playing professionally. Currently, JLNC members are in front of their respective computers and are on ranking, she glanced on her right side and she noticed that past El, their captain's seat is vacant.
"Where is the captain?" she asked and turned to Opal who's on the other side
"Nico's probably still sleeping." Quant answered with his eyes on the screen
Key started focusing on her game, she got 3 kill assists, 15 kills and the team she's currently in got 13 deaths, four kills lesser than the opponent team. Although, she's confident she can catch up to that.
"Eh?" she exclaimed when one of her teammates in the game cut in in front of her and stole her kill.
"Wow, that was rude," she shook her head and continued playing
After several attacks on the opponent's towers, it crumbled down and the only tower left is the one near the opponent's base. She rushed in and began using her Foschia's set of skills to give damage on the base tower, she also used her Foschia's Extasia to stun the opponent's off-laner. She can't communicate well with her teammates for some reason but that's fine for her, she's still monitoring their health and statistics while monitoring hers, she is an off-laner after all.
"Yay!" she cheered after finishing her match
"Quant, let's play a match," Key called him out
"Okay," Quant said then he started editing their match room
After completing their team selection, they proceeded with the game. She used Luccicare whilw Quant used Sournoise, they both used mage-type shinigamis. When the game began, Key headed to the top lane to develop herself, and her eyes widened when she almost got ambushed right after she arrived in the top lane. She blew the hair falling in front of her face off then sat up properly. She used Luccicare's Trave, although it only deals 20% of damage in this version, she continued attacking the opponent's top-laner who dared to ambush her before she started developing herself by killing the opponent's minions.
After reaching level 4, she went to anti-jungle, she started attacking the Kitsune of the opponent's jungle. Fighting the kitsune took a little while and she leveled up to level 5 right after killing the kitsune. Her gold has now increased as well, after the kitsune, she wandered the opponent's jungle to look for the manticore before she starts a small-scale team fight and claim the Hydra.
"Where are you?" Quant asked her
"I'm doing anti-jungle." She replied
"Wait," she said and traveled to the bottom lane when she saw that Quant and their current shooter's health lines are on the risk.
She cut in right in time and took the damage before she used Luccicare's Accantus to deal damage on all four enemies in front of them. She continued pressing each keys, using Luccicare's skills one after another. Apart from Foschia, Luccicare is her other favorite as she is capable of dealing wide-range of damage to multiple enemies at the same time. She used Luccicare's Havre as Trave and Accantus' cool down countdown began. She began receiving the damage from the opponents as Quant used Evocatrice's Sutrarre skill to increase her character's health by stealing the equivalent damage she receives.
After her Havre broke down, she unleashed her ultimate skill; Onde Eclaire, killing all of the opponents.
"That was close," she heaved a sigh of relief
"Quant, let's head to the base," she called out
Their characters headed to the opponent's base, they began shooting out attacks along with their in-game teammates, skills after skills until the base crumbled down, and a large star appeared before the word 'VICTORY' began flashing on the screen.
"Guys," she removed her headset and turned to face Bright who had called them
"Where's Nico?" Dewy looked at them then they looked at the staircase
Rasheed descended the stairs while wearing a simple white shirt and black pants, he headed to his seat in front of the computer and turned it sideways to face Dewy and Bright.
"Now, you're complete." Dewy sighed in relief then smiled at them
"We'll be shooting your official photos next month," he informed them
"The club's seamstress will be coming here to get your measurements later this afternoon then by within more or less two weeks, the uniforms will be delivered here for final fit-check before the actual photo shoot a week after." Dewy explained
Key nodded her head, these men probably know the drill already and Dewy only explained it thoroughly for her knowledge.
"Nico," Bright called their captain
"We have something to talk to you about." Dewy said
"Well, that's all, you can go back to training." Bright told them and they nodded
"Key," El called her as she faced her computer again
"Hmm?" she asked and turned to him
"You'll be live streaming?" Key asked when she noticed that El had turned on his live
"Air time," He replied and she nodded in apprehension
"Let's solo?" she asked and he looked at her with a smirk
"Okay," El nodded his head and wore his headphones
"Oh, a solo," Quant and Opal stood up
"You know the rules of a solo, right?" El asked her
"Hmm," she nodded and said, "Three kills and one tower in the middle lane to win."
"To make it fair, none of you can use your best shinigami." Opal said and leaned on their chairs
"Fighter, then?" Key turned to El
"Hmm," El nodded
Key made the room and added El before they began choosing their shinigamis. El chose Fortiz while she chose Vis, they're both at level 3 when the game began. Key developed her Vis under her tower and she noticed that El is doing the same with his Fortiz after reaching level 4, she charged to the middle part of the map and began attacking the minions coming from El's side.
"What's up?" Dewy asked when he saw Opal and Quant watching over El and Key's shoulders to watch the match instead of training, he's about to scold them but he saw what's keeping them occupied
"Key and El are on a solo," Quant answered and began munching on the mixed nuts from the packet he's holding and even offered some to Dewy who immediately took some
"O, o, they're clashing." Opal's reaction took their attention
El's Fortiz and Key's Vis are both on level four and they're both simultaneously attacking each other with their skills. El used Fortiz's Fuerte against Vis's Collido, and both of them received 15% damage. They used attacks after attack, dealt damage after damage, in the end El won and killed Key's Vis after leveling up to level 5 in the middle of the fight increasing his Fuerte's damage by 5%.
"It's okay, he still have two more kills then a tower." Quant tapped Key's shoulder
Key's competitiveness was trigger and right after her Vis was resurrected she developed herself until she reached level 5 before she clashed with El again, her attack's damage are now equal to that El's Fortiz. After several exchanges and killing of each other's minions, she used her second attack, draining Fortiz's blood.
"All one," Opal announced
After El's Fortiz resurrected, Key used Vis to target his minions whilst waiting for El to enter the middle of the map so she could attack him. Her movements were aggressive and impulsive, El's Fortiz managed to withstand her attacks and was able to deal damage that drains half of the blood of Key's Vis. They continued exchanging attacks until El's Fortiz was drained of its blood. Key used the time of Fortiz's resurrection to have Vis attack the opposite tower, when Fortiz finally resurrected, Key's Vis rushed back to the middle part of the map and waited for Fortiz to enter the battle circle. Key's Vis was then drained of its blood after simultaneously receiving damage from Fortiz's second and ultimate attack
"All two," Opal announced and after that Key managed to kill El's Fortiz again
Key began attacking the closest tower again and retreated after El's Fortiz was resurrected, they began clashing again, both at the maximum level attainable at the fight, Key used Vis's ultimate skill after draining Fortiz's blood to half, draining his blood after receiving 60% damage, before she headed to finish off the tower.
{VICTORY}
Key smiled at El who just gave her a small smile after removing his headphone.
"Good game," El and Key high-fived each other
"Look, Key, someone asked El to show you to them," Quant pointed at the pop-up comments on the side of El's screen
They are all asking to see Kashmiri, or Key, and this made the Key panic internally.
"Eh~"
