Sicily's heart sank as she processed Gregory's words. She had always prided herself on being there for Lilith, offering guidance and support whenever she needed it. But now, faced with the realization that Lilith had kept such a significant event from her, Sicily couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt.
"I don't understand..." Sicily murmured, her brow furrowing with concern. "Why wouldn't she tell me about this?"
Gregory placed a comforting hand on Sicily's shoulder, his expression sympathetic. "You know Lilith, always keeping things close to her chest. Maybe she's still trying to make sense of it herself."
Sicily sighed, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions. On one hand, she wanted to respect Lilith's privacy and give her space to process things on her own. But on the other hand, she couldn't shake the feeling of being left out, of not being there for Lilith when she needed her most.
