Avyanna started to panic as she rushed outside, and as she looked, there was this white Ferrari parked outside Mrs. Stawarski looked at it trying to find the driver.
Slowly, the door opened and a foot laid down the cemented gateway.
A red pair of high heels met the floor as the person's appearance rose as she stood out from the vehicle. A woman with white skin-tight clothing appeared wearing sunglasses as she chewed on some sort of gun.
Her lipstick is bloody red and she holds a small bag in her left hand which has a mole on her ring finger.
Slowly, she took the glasses off, revealing her eyes. Her emerald eyes collaborated and looked so well with her golden blonde hair as she gave a soft smile to Avyanna.
"Hey, Avie." her lips slowly formed a smirk as she looked her eye to eye.
Avyanna gladly ran to her for an embrace as she caressed Avyanna's head, "How are you doing, Avie?" she said whilst still in an embrace.
Tighter and tighter they gripped each other and embraced as Avyanna giggled and softly spoke, "Xshena, I…can't breathe."
Immediately, Xshena lets go of her from the embrace as she rubs her arm and softly apologized with a weak "sorry".
"Ma'am, we should let your guest get inside." Mrs. Stawarski humbly spoke, she gave a slight bow and smiled at him as she stretched her arm towards the direction inside.
"Ah, yes…" Avyanna rubbed her head and looked at Xshena who was standing in front of her.
"Let's get inside, Xshena," she spoke.
"Gladly," Xshena responded shortly, she went to her car and opened the door to the passenger's seat as she took out a box decorative covered with ribbons and handed it to Avyanna.
"Here, a gift of return, from me…to you." she smiled and ruffled her hair.
Avyanna smiled as she followed Xshena who already paced forward and entered inside. Xshena was greeted with great hospitality from the maids as she was graced with their kindness, she observed them.
Xshena slowly sipped from the teacup after she was presented tea, slowly she swerved her head from left to right and right to left before facing Avyanna who was sitting before her.
"Avyanna, you spoke of your husband, right? Where is he? The Narcester person."
Avyanna looked up to her as she shyly responded, "He…went to work, if you want to speak to him, he'll…be here shortly."
"I see, very well, I shall wait for his return."
Xshena placed the teacup down and stood up quietly, she spoke not a word.
She looked through the big glass pane that directed to the garden area as she stared at Nafeli who was helping her grandmother arrange and trim the overgrown stems and leaves from the plants.
"Who is she?" she glistened as she asked about the young child.
"She's Mrs. Stawarski's granddaughter," Avyanna replied shortly.
Xshena nodded as she started to roam around the living room as if checking every corner of it. After a short while, a horn of a vehicle was heard outside as Ms. Aetos rushed outside this time and opened the gates for the car that drove inside.
It was none other than Narcester and Myrto, of course. The car parked by the garage and slowly, Myrto opened the door as Narcester went out of the vehicle.
He stood up and fixed his tux as he continued to trod towards his house.
His eyes met Avyanna's from the glass pane as he smiled, but later a frown crossed his face seeing Xshena's unfamiliar face.
He stepped foot inside and stopped in front of the couch that was situated in the living room.
Xshena stood up formally as she smiled and stepped forward. She reached his hand towards him and spoke, "Pleased to finally meet you, Mr. Narcester Thaddeus."
"And who might you be?" He raised an eyebrow as he glared at the young woman, he eyed her from up her head down to the toe and looked at Avyanna.
"I'm Xshena Albrecht, a model for Vinaigrette Modelling Agency, I am also your wife's best friend. I am very glad to finally have met you, Mr. Thaddeus."
Narcester continued to look at Avyanna as she nodded. "Very well, it is nice meeting you."
He shook her hands as he seated himself on the couch and sighed heavily.
Xshena continued to stand before him as she spoke, "Mr. Thaddeus, I am pleased that you have taken care of my best friend but I can not seem to be at ease while she is with you."
Avyanna was unaware and did not predict that Xshena would do it before she could've called out to her to ask for a stop, Narcester stood up from the couch.
His tall stature made Xshena look so small, that he glared down at her as she looked up with a sharp stare at him.
"And what are you indicating, Ms. Albrecht?"
"I am meaning that with you, my best friend's peace and safety are at risk. I honestly returned here in a hurry as I learned about the rumors that continue to spread. Avie had never once gained this much negative attention not until she married you." she spoke in a brave tone.
"I have disregarded all and disposed of that negativity she received from the media," he said in austerity.
"Yet we can't deny that after the spread of the news, there are some that believed and held onto it. I am doubting her privacy while she is with you, Mr. Thaddeus, do understand that I am worried as a friend."
"Xshena…" Avyanna said as she tried to reach out to her.
"I am certain that I can protect my wife's privacy while she is within my reach, worry not, Ms. Albrecht." Narcester crossed his arms as he scowled at her.
"Indeed, you are a gentleman." Xshena bursts into laughter as both were surprised.
Confused as they were, Xshena gave him a snicker as she tapped his shoulders, "I entrust to you the happiness and safety of my friend, Mr. Thaddeus."
She stepped back and reached her hands out as a smile formed on her lips, "Let's get along, shall we?"
