"Important?" He raised his eyebrows and glared at her.
"Yes, I believe that we all agree upon it." Felicity snickered.
Narcester looked around, their eyebrows creased as their eyes spoke clearly of their agreement upon it. "Tell me, Ms. Vargas, what is this important topic you all are conversing about."
Felicity snickered, she raised her chin high and confidently spoke. She swung her hands sideways and referred to the staff that beholds such a scene in the studio.
"Well, Mr. Thadeus, we agreed that…" she paused.
Narcester was left in wonder as he raised his chin and glared at her. "Speak, Felicity."
"Well, well, isn't that the first time you called me by my name?" she said.
Her cunning eyes show her motives. Slowly, she stepped toward him and ran his fingers on his shoulders. "Aren't you getting used to me now?" she giggled.
"Move your hands away, Felicity, I am telling you to speak of that important matter that you stirred up and made my staff neglect their work and hoard around you."
She pouted, she raised her hands and poked his cheeks as she acted esthetic in front of him.
"Don't scowl, darling. Let's talk alone," she spoke, attempting to entice Narcester.
He stared down at her, unspoken and unmoved, he was scowling and the atmosphere had slowly gotten heavy. Terror filled the eyes of the staff, they froze and none moved. It's well-known to them that tempting the waves brings storms in the seas.
Felicity noticed his irked expression as she raised her eyebrows and giggled, "Fine, fine."
"We all agreed here that you deserve better, Mr. Thaddeus."
Narcester was confused, she didn't specify what she meant, she blinked twice and smiled.
"Mr. Thaddeus, as I am concerned about your wellbeing, I reckon it is not good for you to stay with her."
"Are you referring to my wife, Ms. Vargas?"
Felicity looked at him and nodded, "Lately, the media is flocking towards her because of you and as I think of it, a question can't seem to leave my mind."
She looked around, the staff were not giving any eye contact with anyone as she smirked.
"What if she had planned this to gain the media as part to save Klein Entertainment from falling once again? I apologize if I think of that regarding your wife but I can't help but do so."
He glared at her as his eyes told of arrogance toward the woman, "Take your leave for today, Ms. Vargas, I wish not to see your face."
"Eh??" she voiced out as if she was complaining. "What have I done? I was just concerned about you, Narcester!"
"I need not your concern, not your service, even the lie you spoke about my wife. I have disregarded this behavior of yours for peace between the companies but I shall never tolerate this. May you also refrain from calling me by my name as it is informal." he said and left the hallways.
Felicity faced him as his back overlooked her. She was at a loss for words as her mouth hung open.
She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists as she slowly walked away.
The staff was silent as they seated back in their posts, the awkward silence filled the air after what they had seen. They knew it was not right to believe and spread the rumor of the wife of their boss yet they still dared to tempt the storm.
"So how was your day?" Dana asked as she sat at the table feasting on the oranges that were placed there.
Avyanna smiled as she had spoken, "It's fine and was great."
"Mhm," Dana said as she continued to consume the fruit.
Outside, Nafeli spread her arms to the air as she ran around with a bright smile on her face, mimicking a butterfly.
The big smile on her face was heartwarming, overlooking and watching her is her grandma, Mrs. Stawarski as she watered the growing plants.
"Then what about her?" Dana looked at Nafeli as she continued to run in place round and round. Dana observed as she continued to feast on the oranges that were left.
"That young girl is fond of me, I'm sure, but will you let her stay here? Without the consent of her mother?"
Avyanna couldn't help but think, 'What were the consequences that may fall upon me as I insist on doing so?'
"If you pity her as you said you do, we should not let it get any worse and bring her to her home."
Avyanna looked at the widened smile Nafeli bore, it seemed too much for her to let her go back. She can't help but let her thoughts soar, will she be fine? What will Caitlin do to her? Her attachment to Nafeli has made her heart feel like a heavyweight that she is exhausted with just feeling it.
A sudden, a phone ringing sound bursts out a sound as it ruined the atmosphere.
Avyanna sprung up from her seat as she searched for her phone. A minute later, she found it by the kitchen counter and came to fetch it. The caller was none other than her friend, Xshena.
She picked up the phone as she went away and spoke to her privately, hiding by the garden as the two spoke through the use of technology.
[Hey, Avie, I missed you!] Xshena's cheerful voice tingled her ears as she giggled.
"How are you, Xshena?" She softly greeted her.
[Same as always, goofy and always ready to party.]
A laughter was heard across the line, it made Avyanna build up a smile. "Am glad to hear that, are you still abroad?"
An awkward silence prevailed, Xshena did not respond but the background noise was speaking to her through the phone. Judging from it, Avyanna heard vehicles honking and noises of footsteps crashing to the floor.
The awkward silence continued to prevail for eight more minutes. Slowly, Xshena's voice started to rise once again.
[I'm sorry about that, I'm in the streets at the moment, just a minute.]
A car honked from the phone as well as outside, though as she was busy talking, Mrs. Stawarski made her way outside.
The gate sounded as Mrs. Stawarski opened it and her eyes glowed to widen.
Through phone calls, Xshena's voice softly whispered on the line.
[What if I suddenly appear in front of your house?]
