Axel stopped the car and got up and looked at them. Plumeria looked at him with a smile and walked up to him. She held his hand and took her to Emily first because she knew that he would be more willing to greet her.
They stood there for a few seconds before Emily bursted into tears. She was trying her best not to cry and ruin the happy moment, but couldn't help herself in the end.
Axel didn't know what to say or do in this situation, so Plumer nudged her elbow on his arm and gestured to him to hold her. He hesitated for a bit, but then somehow awkwardly hugged her.
Emily held him tightly and cried in his embrace. He also started tearing up and did his best not to cry.
Owen and Plumeria were already in silent tears, seeing them while Celia sat down on the grass and enjoyed the soft breeze.
It took a while for Emily to calm down, and when she did, she pulled away from him.
