Lyla's father stood in front of her door. She hated him to her guts. The very sight of him made her want to drag him to the rooftop, push him from the edge and throw heavy things on top of him.
But she was also shocked to see him because after her parents got divorced, they moved to another town and even cut him off completely. They also had never told him about their house address or anything that could lead him to them.
