~Before The Incidents~
Plumeria woke up after four hours because her mom called her for breakfast. After having breakfast, she took a shower and dressed herself before she grabbed her things. She went down to her parents to tell them she was going out.
"Where are you going, darling?" her father asked.
She kissed him on the cheek.
"I'm going to Axel's. I should help him with the move." She told him.
"That is a good idea." her mother told her.
"You should treat him too. Buy him some food or make some at home. Do you need me to send you money?" Owen asked her.
"Don't worry dad. I have more than enough." She told him with a smile.
"You sure?" he asked her.
"Yes. I am." she told him and kissed her mom on the cheek. "See you later. I love you."
"We love you too, sweetie." Her mother told her and kissed her forehead.
"Drive safe." Her father told her.
"I will." She told him with a smile and walked away from them.
She got in her car and drove to a café first to get some coffee. She gave her order and was waiting for her drinks when she got a text from an unknown number.
Unknown Number: Just a reminder. We have dinner for today.
"Oh." Plumeria said, remembering that she made dinner plans with Finn today.
Plumeria: Thanks for the reminder. Just text me the place you want to meet up and I'll be there.
Unknown number: Ok.
She quickly saved the number under Finn's number before she was called to take her coffee. She took the coffee that she got for herself and Axel and placed it on the passenger seat before she drove to his house.
When she got there, she saw some furniture being moved up the building. After parking, she grabbed the coffee and went to his apartment. When she got near his apartment, she saw the furniture being moved inside.
Plumeria walked into his house and saw him talking to a man. After letting him finish his conversation with the man, she approached him.
"Good morning." She said, coming behind him with a smile.
He turned around to look at her. When he saw it was her, he smiled warmly.
"Good morning. What brings you here?" he asked.
She held out a coffee for him.
"I brought coffee and thought I could help you out." she told him as he took one cup of coffee from her.
"Are you really going to help or are you going to just sit and watch me do the unpacking?" he asked her.
She pouted him, to which he responded by pinching her lips better with his thumb and forefinger.
"Ducky mad?" He teased her.
She slapped his arm away, which made him laugh.
"Hey, I mean it. I really am here to help you." She told him.
"Well, the furniture is still being moved, so how about you unpack the things in the kitchen? There are boxes and bags there that need to be put on shelves." He told her.
"Leave it to me." She told her with a grin.
He gave her a bow.
"Thank you, your majesty." He told her.
"As you were, peasant." She told him, gesturing to him to go away.
They looked at each other and laughed.
"I'll be in the kitchen then." She told her.
He nodded at her.
"Thanks for the coffee." He told her.
"Anytime." She smiled and headed to the kitchen.
She first opened up the boxes and organized the spices and other dry ingredients while Axel set up the new furniture with the moving men.
By the time all the furniture was put to place, she was also done organising the kitchen.
It surprised him that she had finished so fast.
He whistled, standing in the doorway and feeling amazed as she placed the groceries in the fridge. She looked back at him and grinned.
"What? Were you expecting me to be playing on my phone?" She asked him.
"Half yes and half no. But I really wasn't expecting you to finish this quickly." He told her and walked next to her.
"I've been doing a lot of packing and unpacking, so I guess you can say that I'm a pro now." He told her.
"Well, that's a good thing because we have the bathroom, bedroom and living room to organise as well." He told her with his arms crossed.
She pretended to be offended at him.
"Are you making me do labor with no rewards? I should report you for labor abuse." She told him.
He chuckled, looking at her.
"How about this? I'll make you food. Sounds good?" He asked.
"Ooohhh, he cooks!" She exclaimed, half in amazement and half in excitement.
"I learned a lot of things while living alone." He told her and then leaned in to whisper. "Like cleaning the toilet as well."
She laughed at him.
"I'll call you next time my toilet is clogged." She laughed.
"Hey, I didn't get a medical degree to clean your clogged toilet." He told her, pretending to be offended.
She placed her hand on his shoulder.
"You vowed to save lives, though. It's your responsibility to save me, too." She told him in a serious tone.
"That's a weird way of saving a life and I'm pretty sure that cleaning toilets isn't in my job description." He told her.
She patted his back.
"It is now." She told him and brushed past him, closing the fridge door.
She only took a few steps when suddenly she was taken off her feet. She looked at Axel in shock because he was carrying her.
"What are you doing?" She asked in shock.
He looked down at her and smirked.
"Throwing my responsibility away." He told her.
She laughed as he took her to a window. She held him tightly, seeing that she was being held to the edge of the window.
"Axel!" she said, feeling afraid.
"Still want me to clean your toilet?" He asked her.
She shook her head furiously.
"Absolutely not." She told him in fear.
She screamed as he threatened to throw her.
"Axel!" she screamed.
He laughed at her.
"Oh, I think you're too heavy for me to hold you any longer." He told her and lowered his arms a little and shook them a bit.
She held him even more tightly.
"Axel! Pull me back in! If you drop me, then I'll take you with me!" She screamed at him.
He laughed at her and took her inside, placing her gently down on the floor.
Plumeria looked at him, pissed, and punched him in the arm. He winced and rubbed his arm where she punched him.
"You big jerk. That was really dangerous. What if you actually dropped me?" She asked him.
He leaned in and kissed her forehead.
"I would never because I love you with my life." He told her.
She made a pissed sound at him. He chuckled.
Suddenly someone started banging on the door loudly, making her flinch.
"Who is that idiot?" Axel asked with a frown as he went to open the door.
As soon as he opened the door, someone punched him hard in the face and grabbed him by his collar.
"Where is she?!" He demanded in a furious tone.
"Levi!" Plumeria exclaimed in horror, looking at them.
•••
Levi parked outside his friend's apartment building. He had just gotten out of his car when he heard a scream above him. He looked up and saw in horror that Plumeria was being held out the window.
He took note of the apartment number and ran to the elevator with his heart beating loudly in his chest.
The elevator was taking too long to reach him, so he took the stairs and ran as fast as he could to the floor she was on.
When he got to that floor, he ran to the apartment door he saw her being thrown out of.
He knocked on the door wildly, hoping that he wasn't too late.
As soon as the door opened. He punched the guy with all his strength. Anger and horror filled him as he thought that he already threw her.
With all the strength, Levi punched the man. He staggered back a little when Levi grabbed him by his collars and gave him a deadly look.
"Where is she?!" He demanded in a furious tone.
"Levi!" Plumeria exclaimed in horror, looking at them.
He looked at her, relieved when he saw that she was okay.
When she ran up to him, he thought that she was going to hug him and thank him for saving her life, but she roughly pushed him away.
He looked at her in disbelief as she looked worriedly at the man who had tried to kill her a few minutes ago.
"Are you okay?" She asked Axel in a genuinely worried tone while holding his face.
This made Levi angry.
"He was about to kill you by throwing you out the window! Is that how stupid you are or do you love him that fucking blindly?" He asked her furiously.
She looked at him angrily after seeing a cut on Axel's face.
"Who I love is none of you fucking business!" She snapped at him furiously.
He glared at her and grabbed her wrist tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her.
"Yes, it is! You are mine, woman!" He snapped back at her.
