After they had finished eating, Levi also came back with food for her. He was a bit surprised to see his mother.
"Did you go to make food or get food? What took you so long?" Plumeria asked him.
"There was a huge line at the restaurant." he lied to her as he placed the food on the table.
He turned around and saw some empty plates peeking out from a bag.
"But you already ate." He said, realizing.
"I can have it later." She told him. "Did you eat?"
"I have some left for you too, dear." Ella told her.
"Yeah, sure. I am hungry." He told her.
Ella gave him food, and he ate it quickly because he really was hungry.
"Since you're here, do you mind me running home for a quick shower?" he asked her.
"Oh, I almost forgot." Ella said, remembering something. "The doctor checked her a little while ago and they told her that she can leave."
"That's great. I'll handle the paperwork." He told her.
