The police officers first wrote Lyla's complaint and then Axel's against Logan. They got up to leave, but of course, Logan couldn't just leave them in peace.
"You managed to seduce a good one. I bet he brings in a lot of income. Yes, yes. Doctors, especially surgeons, earn a six-figure salary, right? No wonder you live in that expensive apartment." Logan told her in a foul tone.
Lyla was surprised that he knew about him as well and thought that Axel was his boyfriend.
"How do you know that he's a surgeon?" Lyla asked him.
"Oh? So you do not deny that he's your boyfriend? I figure it out after I saw him running to save you with from his outfit." Logan asked her.
'Why should I? When would it make you feel even miserable?' she thought.
