Queen Morgania had just had her breakfast alone begrudgingly after being rejected by the King without a reason. She could not help but find fault in the maids serving her and had her guards punish them by trashing them while she watched. It was obvious that she had yet received the news of the happening around the palace.
She rested her legs on a cushion and ate grapes from a tray that was held by the maid while she watched about five of her maids getting beaten up. The scene of the maid's back getting torn by the blade whips and their shrieking appeared pleasing to her ears.
Just then, the door of the courtyard was pushed open and the Queen's personal guard sauntered in. His cold aura enveloped the yard causing the people to shiver and even the guards dealing with the maid halted their actions abruptly.
