Meanwhile Gary sighed wistfully as he watched Nathan stand strong. He also thought to himself, wondering if he could do such a thing.
To stand tall even in the face of an insurmountable adversity, would he be able to do that without cowering?
Would he be able to manage his nerves and keep calm in such a situation where his life was threatened by them?
He quickly came to a conclusion.
It was impossible but that was a height he aspired to reach, when he would no longer need to fear anything and he would be able to stand strong, protecting his comrades from the dangers of the Apocalypse.
Without knowing and somewhat unconsciously, Gary placed Nathan as a role model in his heart. A role model that he aspired to be more than against the Apocalypse.
It was amazing to watch him stand tall even as death quickly approached and it pained him more than ever that Nathan would be eliminated so soon.
